Musical comedian Vikki Stone is to appear on BBC2 as part of its Christmas line-up in the TV premiere of the BBC Music film Ten Pieces II.
Stone stars alongside fellow comedian Doc Brown, actor Christopher Eccleston and Pixie Lott.
Ten Pieces II is an immersive family film that mixes a star-studded cast with magical animation, live action and stunning close-up performance to bring 10 pieces of orchestral music into vivid focus.
The BBC Philharmonic is conducted by rising star Alpesh Chauhan, playing side-by-side with members of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in Manchester's atmospheric Victoria Warehouse. Special guests are the Hallé Choir, violinist Nicola Benedetti, trumpeter Alison Balsom and DJ Mr Switch.
The follow-up to last year's BAFTA-nominated first Ten Pieces film, this new film has already been shown in cinemas nationwide and now transmits on TV for the first time, promising inspirational family entertainment.
Stone recently appeared on the The John Bishop Show and last month gave a TED Talk at the home of The Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland.
Stone will also be appearing onstage in Dick Whittington at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury until January 10th.
