Musician and comedian Vikki Stone has written her debut panto. Her version of Aladdin at The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre kickstarts London’s 2021 panto season, running from 19 November 2021 to 02 January 2022.

Royal & Derngate today announced that it is releasing a concept album on 27 March for a new digital musical commissioned for online and social media distribution called #ZoologicalSociety and written by multi-award-winners Vikki Stone and Katie Mulgrew. The release will be launched with a live concert performance at BEAM 2020, the UK’s leading showcase of new British musical theatre, taking place at Royal & Derngate.
The award-winning comedian and musician Vikki Stone presents the London premiere of her debut orchestral work, Concerto for Comedian and Orchestra, at Kings Place on March 30.
In the performance the comedian takes the role of ‘soloist’ alongside the London Musical Theatre Orchestra conducted by Ben Glassberg. The concerto had its debut performance at Glastonbury Festival, and has also played the Latitude and Edinburgh Festivals.
Vikki Stone is setting out on a UK tour for the first time in four years.
She is putting her fold-up piano in the back of the car and will be starting the tour in Bristol on September 20.

Musical comedian Vikki Stone's Concerto For Comedian and Orchestra has been published by Faber Music. Stone now sits on their website between Stolz and Stravinsky.
Stone performed the work at Latitude and Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year at the 700-seater Pleasance Grand.

The musical comedian plays Oberon/Mia in The Donkey Show – A Midsummer Night's Disco. The poster says it was created by Randy Weiner and Diane Paulus, though we presume Shakespeare had a hand in it somewhere too.
It has previously been a hit off-Broadway and mixes disco scenes and music with acrobatics, fire breathing and aerialist skills. The audience walks around to follow the action.
