BBC2 postponed last night's edition of Mock The Week that was due to be broadcast at 10pm.

The decision was taken to postpone the pre-recorded edition of the comedy show because of the death of MP Jo Cox and replace it with an edition of QI. 

Posting the news on Twitter, the programme's host Dara O'Briain wrote: "Understandably, in light of today's events, there will be no Mock The Week tonight. We recorded the show on Tuesday; it may be shown later."

Question Time and This Week were also cancelled.
