Voting has now opened for this year's UK Comedy Awards. These are the only awards for comedians voted for by comedians.
The awards, also known as the Comics Comic Awards, were started in 2013 by John Moloney as an alternative to various other prizes that he felt did not recognise professional comedians who work the circuit year in, year out.
There are three categories this year.
Best UK Live stand up
Best Compere
The tradition is that the awards are organised by the previous year's winner. Last year's winner of Best Live Stand Up was Zoe Lyons and she has introduced a new third category, Best Independent Promotor.
Comedians can send their votes to [email protected]. Three suggestions per category in no particular order.
The winners will be announced on Monday 20th December.
