Zoe Lyons has revealed that her quiz show Lightning will not be returning to BBC Two.
She posted the news on Instagram along with a picture of the shiny suit she wears in the show.
Brighton-based comedian Zoe Lyons is back to present a new series of the quiz show Lightning.
Lyons has recently opened up about her hair loss. She wears a "TV wig" when she appears on screen. Before then she appeared on Have o Got News For You? in a beanie hat.
She told the Mirror: "I’ve quite enjoyed the cliche of being a game-show host in my shiny suit, having my bald patches painted in by a make-up artist.”
For those who were wondering if Zoe Lyons has been wearing a wig on recent TV appearances on shows such as Live at the Apollo and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, Lyons has previously explained the situation. The spiky stand-up has stress-related alopecia and at the moment her hair is much thinner than normal so she is wearing a wig.
I don't know why but in my head QI is the poor relation of Would I Lie to You? and Have I Got New For You. Or maybe a more appropriate description is that QI is the older, brainier, sibling, even though chronologically Have I Got News is actually the oldest.
