Adam Buxton has been crowned Podcast Champion at the British Podcast Awards. The award recognises the person who has done the most to help and develop podcasts in 2016. The Adam Buxton Podcast has had umpteen big guests such as Steve Coogan, Michael Palin and Brian Eno.
Others winners are Hip Hop Saved My Life with Romesh Ranganathan and audioBoom, which was named The Best Entertainment Podcast and Beef & Dairy Network hosted by Benjamin Partridge which won The Best Comedy Podcast supported by Podiant. Best Radio Podcast supported by UK Radioplayer went to Short Cuts, which is presented by Josie Long.
