News: Peter Kay's Car Share Dominates iPlayer Charts

Comedian Peter Kay’s Car Share dominated the BBC iPlayer chart in April, taking four of the top five places for most requested television episode.
 
Top of the chart was episode three - the safari park episode – which was requested 2,411,000 times in April. Each of the four episodes had over two million requests during the month.
 
Returning dramas Doctor Who and Line Of Duty also featured in the top ten.

New data shows requests were up by 23 per cent on this time last year, reaching 274 million in April.
