Voting has opened for this year's comedy.co.uk awards.

385 different comedies were broadcast on TV and radio last year. But which were the best ones? The Comedy.co.uk Awards - now in their 12th year - aim to find out. Every comedy from 2017 is nominated here in the longlist (no biased shortlists!) and the results will be 100% based on public opinion.

Previous winners include Red Dwarf, which was voted the overall "Comedy Of The Year 2016" award as well as the hotly-contested "Best Returning TV Sitcom 2016" title.

Ben Elton's Upstart Crow was voted "Best New TV Sitcom 2016", while Taskmaster named "Best TV Entertainment Show 2016".

Voting to compile the shortlist closes Sunday 14th January 2018 at 11:59pm. Voting to pick the overall winner then runs Monday 15th to Sunday 28th.
