David O'Doherty is taking his new show, You Have To Laugh, on the road this autumn.

This follows a run at the Assembly Festival in Edinburgh in August. 

The winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2008 is also a children's author and regularly appears on TV shows such as QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You.

O'Doherty's tour currently starts in Harrogate on October 11 and ends in Birmingham on December 6.
