Inside No. 9 co-star Reece Shearsmith has tweeted for the first time since the live episode of the award-winning series went out at the end of October when he "died". Asking people to bid for a piece of original Inside No. 9 art being sold for charity, Shearsmith posted an image of a ghostly pumpkin with: "Back from the grave! Please bid on my #StarsOnCanvas piece for @Willow_Fdn ebay auction ends 25th Nov." (see picture)

Shearsmith is a regular tweeter but his last tweet was posted during the unique live episode when in a beautiful moment of interactive social media he asked viewers: "Are me and Steve Pemberton on BBC two now?" In the episode "Shearsmith" was murdered, which maybe explains his lack of postings since then...

Beyond The Joke had assumed that Shearsmith had not actually been bumped off as he is billed to appear at a special tribute to Sean Hughes on December 10. And also because Inside No. 9 is not real.
