The winner of the inaugural Komedia New Comedy Award is Michael Akadiri. After a tight competition, Akadiri was presented his award onstage at Komedia in Brighton.
Dinesh Nathan was 1st runner up and joint 2nd runner up places were awarded to Fran Kissling and Will Robbins.
The Komedia New Comedy Award was launched in January 2020 in association with Comic Boom and Victoria Nangle. The final was compered by Angela Barnes.
