The WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards 2021 final has taken place at the Bloomsbury Theatre in front of an audience in the theatre and an online audience at home.
Ten acts performed. They were:
Rhiannon 'Ray Ray' Hopkins
Ed MacArthur
DING
David Hoare
Christy Coysh
Hel MacCormack
Flat & The Curves
Simon David
Orlando Gibbs
Edy Hurst
And the results are as follows:
The winning act was hip hop rapping comedian Christy Coysh
Second place went to Flat & The Curves
Third place went to Orlando Gibbs
There was also an Audience Favourite vote. The winner of that was David Hoare
The Best Newcomer award went to Plastic Jeezus, who also performed on the night.
Mawaan Rizwan performed a headline set while the judges deliberated and Josh Weller compered.
