The Cosmic Shambles Network are delighted to announce that the two Nine Lessons shows that were postponed at the end of December 2021 have been rescheduled to this April.
Hosted by Robin Ince, the audience can still expect an evening packed with the traditional medley of all things curious and creative for which the Christmas shows are renowned – a wonderful combination of ideas, experiments, science, songs, comedy, poetry and much much more.
Guests will include stand up mathematician Matt Parker, comedians Deborah Frances-White and Joanna Neary, Natural History Museum curator Miranda Lowe, physicists Dr Mark Richards and Dr Helen Czerski, musicians Femi & Marco and Jim Bob, mathematicians Bobby Seagull and Nira Chamberlain, astrophysicists Professor Lucie Green and Professor Chris Lintott, physicist Dr Jessica Wade, singer-songwriter Ruarri Joseph, and classicist Natalie Haynes with many more to be announced.
These shows will continue to support chosen charities COVAX and Maytree and as always there will be collections for a local foodbank.
Robin Ince (pictured) is a multiple award winning comedian best known for co-hosting the international smash hit, Rose D’Or and Sony Award winning BBC Radio 4 and podcast series, The Infinite Monkey Cage, with Professor Brian Cox and the acclaimed Book Shambles podcast with Josie Long and Science Shambles series with Dr Helen Czerski.
