Following the success of the first series, the podcast Memory Lane returns for a second run.
In each episode Jen Brister and Kerry Godliman's guest comes armed with four photos from their life to talk about. These could be anything from their fifth birthday party, their first day at school, a drunken night at university, a wedding photo, a holiday photo... From there, who knows where the conversation takes them.
The line-up of guests for the new series include: Jason Manford, Isy Suttie, Jake Lambert, Rosie Jones, Paul McCaffrey, Suzi Ruffell, Fin Taylor, Maisie Adam, Kevin Bishop, Ayesha Hazarika and Josh Jones.
Personal photographs are used as a starting point to delve into the guests' lives. The parts of their lives that often go unnoticed, which can be catalysts for so much of what makes them who they are today.
In the first series we learnt about Jo Brand’s dad burning all her clothes, Romesh Ranganathan’s family singalongs, Mark Steel’s holiday with Jeremy Hardy, Seann Walsh’s New Romantics phase and James Acaster’s first stand-up gigs at church group.
Memory Lane is a Dot Dot Dot production and is distributed by Keep It Light.
Memory Lane is available at your usual podcast outlets from Wednesday July 5.
