British comedian Brett Goldstein has landed a role in a new NBC sitcom.
According to a report on Deadline the star of cult British movie SuperBob who has also appeared in various TV shows including BBC Three's Uncle will have a regular role in the space-travel comedy pilot Spaced Out, which is created by Adam Sztykiel and Bill Lawrence, who were behind the series Undateable.
Spaced Out is described as a workplace comedy centred on a "working-class genius and his struggles to fit in with an established team" whose job is building a rocket to Mars. Goldstein will play Leon Ness, "the brilliant, eccentric and unpredictable founder of Space One — a man who dreams big and never gives up".
