Comedian Mae Martin has announced a UK tour this autumn for her latest show Dope. The news was announced via a Facebook Live Q&A this afternoon (Friday June 23).
The 20-date tour of Dope follows a run at the Edinburgh Fringe this August. Buy tickets for Edinburgh here.
Dope candidly charts Martin’s addictions, rehab, sexuality and her development from awkward youth to millennial observationalist. The show debuted at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017 to critical acclaim, with The Guardian describing it as ‘very funny and unexpectedly moving - the tightest and most well-paced show at the festival’. She has a BBC Radio 4 series that is currently scheduled for 2018, alongside her first non-fiction book which will be published in the same year.
Dates will start at London’s Soho Theatre on 18th September 2017, concluding on 11th November 2017 at Warwick Arts Centre. Tickets are on sale now at www.maemartin.net and www.showandtelluk.com.
