Live at the Apollo is due to return to the BBC this autumn for its thirteenth series.

The latest line-up has not been officially announced yet but the show has been filmed at Hammersmith's Eventim Apollo this week and Beyond The Joke can reveal some of the acts appearing on the new series. A number of very new acts who have just appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe will be getting their TV breaks on the show.

Among the performers appearing are Darren Harriott, who was nominated for the lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer prize. Also appearing are Guz Khan, Chris McCausland, Lucy Porter, Ed Byrne, Dane Baptiste, Geoff Norcott, Larry Dean, Sara Pascoe, Angela Barnes, Rob Beckett, Nish Kumar, Desiree Burch and Jen Brister.

And Katherine Ryan will be hosting a Christmas special featuring Marlon Davis, Joel Dommett and 2017 lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award joint winner for Best Show, John Robins. There was a rumour that this episode would be fronted by Great British Bake Off star Noel Fielding as the theatre had a special backdrop which said "Noel At The Apollo".
