Musical comedian Vikki Stone's Concerto For Comedian and Orchestra has been published by Faber Music. Stone now sits on their website between Stolz and Stravinsky. 

Stone performed the work at Latitude and Glastonbury and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year at the 700-seater Pleasance Grand.

The classically trained comedian is also known for her comic songs about Brian Cox and Phillip Schofield and was part of the BBC presenting team at the Proms. In her Prom podcasts she has interviewed the likes of Jamie Cullum, Quincy Jones, Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle.

As the title suggests, the Concerto is a vehicle for Stone's own comedic talents but it has been written in such a way that it can be performed by other comedians, with the script able to be adapted as necessary. It's in four movements, with a narrative, and it also introduces the audience to the orchestra and issues of concert etiquette! Highlights include 'The Arrival of the Dishwasher', and there's even a 'March of the Latecomers'…
