Fresh from making his debut US TV appearance on Conan, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and self-proclaimed ‘Lie-in King’ Seann Walsh is heading back on tour with his brand new show ‘After This One, I’m Going Home’. Following a limited run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August, Seann will embark on an epic 51-date tour around the UK from September through to December.
Seann has quickly become a well-respected comedy actor, most recently co-starring in ITV1 sitcom Bad Movealongside Jack Dee. The hugely successful first series was broadcast in autumn 2017 and it has been commissioned for a second series, coming this autumn.
Other acting credits include starring in Comedy Central’s sitcom Big Bad World, Sky’s silent comedy Three Kinds of Stupid and he will be making his feature film debut in 2018’s family comedy 2:hrs, released later this year. He has also turned his hand to writing with his own Sky Arts Comedy Shorts Series in 2016 and he wrote and produced his very own comedy web-series The Drunk.
Seann is a regular face on the small screen with appearances as team captain on Virtually Famous (Channel 4) and as a regular on Play To The Whistle (ITV). Other TV appearances include: One For The Road (BBC 3), Live At The Apollo (BBC 2), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Tonight at The London Palladium (ITV),Celebrity Juice (ITV2), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4),Alan Carr’s Chatty Man (Channel 4) and Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central).
Seann can currently be heard hosting his weekly radio show and podcast News-Ish on Fubar Radio, alongside co-host Mark Simmons.
Ahead of his UK tour, Seann will be performing ‘After This One, I’m Going Home’ at the Edinburgh Fringe at the Pleasance Courtyard (Beyond) for a limited 12-night run from Tuesday 14th – Saturday 25th August at 9.20pm.
