Strictly Come Dancing
Fresh from making his debut US TV appearance on Conan, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and self-proclaimed ‘Lie-in King’ Seann Walsh is heading back on tour with his brand new show ‘After This One, I’m Going Home’. Following a limited run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August, Seann will embark on an epic 51-date tour around the UK from September through to December.
Susan Calman has survived the Strictly Come Dancing vote and will be back next week.
The lawyer-turned-comedian and partner Kevin Clifton went Game of Thrones on the latest round of Strictly Come Dancing, doing the foxtrot to Killer Queen. Susan Calman dressed as Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, Kevin Clifton dressed as Jon Snow.
The judges were not entirely convinced. Shirley Ballas said "it lacked grace."
Craig Revel Horwood quipped: "I thought my ride-on mower at home had more grace and elegance."
Comedian Susan Calman has become involved in a debate about the gender of dancing partners in Strictly Come Dancing.
Calman, who is married to a woman, has faced criticism on social media for dancing with a professional male dancer during the competition. The identity of her partner will be revealed on the first programme (7pm, BBC1, September 9 - update - it's Kevin Clifton), which has already been recorded.
