Comedian Mae Martin's debut book, Can Everyone Please Calm Down?: A Guide to 21st Century Sexuality, is to be published in paperback by Wren & Rook on May 16.
This is Martin's description of th book: "Hello, I'm Mae Martin, and this book is my attempt to demystify sexuality by narrating my own, often humiliating adventures in sex, dating, gender identity, etc. and to get everyone to Just. Calm. Down."
Mae is an award-winning writer and comedian whose 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated show was turned in to a stand-up special for Netflix as part of Netflix's first global stand-up series Comedian's of the World.
Mae Martin's Guide to 21st Century Sexuality was first broadcast on Radio 4 in 2016 and nominated for an Audio Drama Award in 2017. The follow-up show, Mae Martin's Guide to 21st Century Addiction, was broadcast on Radio 4 in 2017.
