Jean Fergusson, who played Marina in Last of the Summer Wine, has died. She was 74.
Fergusson played Marina for 25 years in 216 episodes
Fergusson also appeared in Coronation Street, All Creatures Great & Small, Doctors, Crossroads and The Practice.
She was born on December 20, 1944 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and was nominated for an Olivier Award in 1998 for playing legendary comedian Hylda Baker in the stage show She Knows You Know!
Her Summer Wine character first appeared in a stage version of the sitcom but went down so well writer Roy Clarke incorporated her into the BBC series.
