Comedian Alan Carr has married his long-term boyfriend Paul Drayton in Los Angeles.

The couple reportedly wed in a small, private ceremony last week.

The Chatty Man host's publicist said they were "planning a big celebration with all their family and friends" and that "they are both extremely happy".

For the past 6 years he has hosted a galaxy of stars to raise money for a variety of good causes. This year's show at the iconic London Palladium on Monday November 6th 2017 is in aid of the Julia's House children's hospice.

Special guests booked include Alan Carr, Adam Hills, Kevin Bridges and Russell Howard as well as huge surprise guests on the night.

News: Christmas Special For Alan Carr

Alan Carr will turn festive elf this December he presents a star-studded quiz – The Twelve Stars of Christmas – where the audience take home the prizes, if their celebrity rep knows what’s what from 2016.

In each show, playing for one third of the audience, will be three celebrity guests who will take it in turns to choose doors from Alan’s giant Advent Calendar. Behind each door will be a famous face armed with a question about the highlights (and lowlights) of the year.

Alan Carr has announced a major UK tour for 2015. The BAFTA and British Comedy Award winning comedian, author and chat show supremo returns to his stand up roots with his‘Yap, Yap, Yap!’ Tour, taking in over 120 theatre shows, starting in Weston Super Mare on February 1. Alan Carr, Davina McCall and Dr Christian Jessen are back to host this year's live broadcast of Stand Up To Cancer on C4 on October 21. Opinion: Another Chat Show, Another Man

So this week it was announced that The Michael McIntyre Chat Show will start on BBC1 in the Spring. It is no surprise that the network has found a new vehicle for the nation's skippiest stand-up star. And maybe no surprise that it's a chat show. McIntyre is great talker and, more importantly, also a great listener. Anyone who has seen him do small shows will know that he likes nothing better than banter with his audience, so hopefully the sparks will fly when he banters with his guests.

News: Superagent Addison Cresswell Dies

It is not an understatement to say that the British comedy world was rocked as well as shocked to hear yesterday that Addison Cresswell, one of the industry's most powerful agents, had suddenly died. He suffered a suspected heart attack in his sleep on Sunday night. He was 53. I think that the last time I saw him was at the British Comedy Awards earlier this month. I only caught a glimpse of him but he seemed to be his usual self, talking fifteen to the dozen to various comedy and media movers and shakers.
