Alex Beckett
There is to be a memorial for actor Alex Beckett, who died suddenly in April.
The service will be at the Actors' Church in Covent Garden at 3pm on July 6.
The Wales-born actor was best known for his role as Barney Lumsden (pictured) in Twenty Twelve and W1A. He was apearing in The Way Of The World at the Donmar Warehouse when he died and had recently filmed his role in the movie Mary Queen of Scots.
Actor Alex Beckett, best known to TV fans for his roles in W1A and Twenty Twelve has died. He was 35 years old.
He was currently appearing in The Way Of The World at the Donmar Warehouse. His agent and the theatre have issued the following statements:
Gavin Denton-Jones, Alex Beckett’s acting agent said: "We’re deeply saddened by the loss of Alex – a wonderful man and a hugely talented actor. Our thoughts are with his family and we kindly ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
