Assembly Festival has announced over 100 shows for its 2023 programme. The festival, which is housed year-round at Assembly Roxy, is returning to its familiar venues at Assembly Rooms, Assembly Hall, Assembly George Square and Gardens, and Assembly Checkpoint.

Assembly Festival has now added a further 90+ shows to its biggest and most dazzling line-up to date which includes returning Fringe favourites, theatrical debuts, international circus, comedy newcomers and the return of The Flick - Assembly’s late-night den off George Square. During August, self-proclaimed Duchess Diane Chorley will be hosting live entertainment at The Flick until 5am.

The hugely popular Assembly Festival Garden will return to Coventry in the spring after proving to be a UK City of Culture hit.
The pop-up venue on the site of the former civic centre buildings, now owned by Coventry University, was unveiled in July in a partnership between Coventry City of Culture Trust and Assembly Festival.

Coventry UK City of Culture has announced that Assembly Festival will be setting up, programming and running a substantial new hub venue in the city centre, Assembly Festival Garden. The site will be a centrepiece for the city’s year of cultural celebrations and will run from 1 July to mid-October 2021.
Assembly Festival has announced that applications for the 2020 Assembly Roxy Theatre (ART) Award are now open. This year, for the first time ever, the Award will provide additional performance and development opportunities for up to four shortlisted productions.
Assembly Festival has announced over 100 more shows going on April 18 as part of this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
