It was announced today that Toby Ward joins Avalon as Head of UK Production (Comedy, Entertainment & Scripted).
Laura Kennedy has joined the Avalon Group as the company’s chief executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Avalon’s founders Jon Thoday and Richard Allen-Turner will become Co-Executive Chairmen of the company. The company represents some of the biggest names in comedy including David Baddiel, Al Murray and Russell Howard.
Promoters Avalon have announced their line-up for this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with the chance to see runs from established and award-winning comics including Russell Howard and Jon Culshaw, Mock the Week star Ed Gamble, host of Dave’s Unspun Matt Forde, and viral musical-sisterly sensations Flo & Joan among many others.
