Idris Elba and Bill Bailey are set to return in a second series of their award-winning, top-rated comedy In The Long Run.
The series will continue to follow the adventures of Walter, Agnes, Valentine and their neighbours Bagpipes and Kirsty.
In The Long Run, created and produced by Idris Elba of Green Door Pictures and produced with Gina Carter of Sprout Pictures, is loosely based on Elba’s own childhood and explores life growing up on an estate in 1980s London.
Bill Bailey is to do an arena tour of his hit show Larks in Transit.
The tour kicks off in Brighton on 4th May 2019 and takes in Southampton, Hull, Manchester, Sheffield, Plymouth, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Derby, Leeds, and Newcastle before culminating in Bournemouth on 11th June 2019.

Bill Bailey has added more dates to his acclaimed Larks in Transit tour.
The additional dates are in Brighton, Plymouth, Cheltenham, Dundee and Edinburgh in May 2019 and will go on sale on Thursday, May 24 at 10am here.

Bill Bailey is to do a special London run of his latest show, Larks In Transit, over the Christmas period.
It will be at Wyndham’s Theatre from Mon 3 December 2018 to Sat 5 January 2019. Tickets will go on general sale 10.00am Thursday 26 April 2018.
Who are you playing?
Bagpipes is Walter’s upstairs neighbour – Walter being Idris’s character. He works in a factory and they’ve been friends for 10 years or so, so they know each other quite well and their kids play together and their wives know each other. It’s quite a sweet friendship. It’s one of the core relationships in the show.
And what kind of a man is he?
The first pictures have been release of the cast of In The Long Run, the new Sky comedy set in the 1980s and inspired by the childhood memories of Idris Elba.
The series is set in the 1980s, the decade of shell suits and turtlenecks, and starts on Thursday 29th March at 10pm on Sky One and streaming service NOW TV.

Nextmeal.co.uk has been set up by Martin Stone, who who has run/worked at the Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen. It is is designed to provide detailed information about which centres are open and where food and support can be found nearby.
