The annual 99 Club Bursary Showcase has taken place at the Arboretum in Central London.
Five acts who are taking their debut full length shows to the Edinburgh Fringe this year took part in a show compeed by Carly smallman with a headline slot by Esther Manito.
This bursary programme supports the work of female and non-binary comics.
The 99 Club has announced the results of its bursary showcase on Monday night. Two awards of £500 were given to Louise Atkinson and Priya Hall, with three awards of £100 given to Alexandra Haddow, Leila Navabi and Lorna Rose Treen.
The 99 Club is welcoming applications for its female & non-binary comedians bursary. This programme is open to all female and non-binary artists who are taking their first full length solo comedy show to the world-famous Edinburgh Festival - a major step in a comedian’s career.
