An initiative has been launched to encourage people involved in the comedy industry to pay for their tickets when they see shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Free Free, started by production company Blink Industries, asks everyone who works in the comedy world (apart from reviewers) to pay for tickets to shows at the Fringe if they are able to.
Some of the biggest names from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival are coming to North Berwick for a one-off gig in August.
Rhys Nicholson (pictured), who has just been nominated for a Helpmann Award in Australia, will be joined by Barry Award nominated Tom Walker and Demi Lardner, winner of this year’s Pinder Prize.
Fringe by the Sea, the annual multi-arts festival centred in North Berwick, East Lothian, has appointed a new board of directors who plan to extend and develop the festival.
