The Frog and Bucket Comedy Club has announced all ten of the finalists for the Beat the Frog World Series new act competition final, which will take place next Monday (4th November) at the Manchester venue.
Beat The Frog has been finding the best new comedic talent every Monday for 20 years. Each October the winners from the past 12 months are invited back to find the best of the best in what has been dubbed the Beat The Frog World Series.
Australian comedian Peter Jones has won this year’s Beat the Frog World Series. Northern Irish comedian Daniel McCreanor was runner up in a vote by the audience and Qasim Akhtar from Bury won the special panel prize
The line up for the Beat the Frog World Series Final is at the Frog and Bucket on Monday 6th November has been revealed. The finalists were plucked from five heats across the whole of October and the ultimate event will be compered by Brennan Reece, a former winner himself.

The Beat The Frog World Series 2022 comedy competition will culminate with the grand final on Monday 7th November!
A fine line up has emerged from the five heats across the last month and after last night’s final heat at the Frog and Bucket Comedy Club we can now reveal the full list of finalists.

The Frog and Bucket Comedy Club finally returns to Preston next month. Manchester’s famed comedy club originally opened a sister venue in nearby Preston in September 2009 running until September 2014 when it then moved to The Guildhall until December 2016.
