Comedian Janey Godley's coffin was driven down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh on Friday.
Roses were thrown as hundred watched the procession.
Godley died on November 2 aged 63 after receiving palliative treatment for terminal cancer.
The private funeral is this weekend.

Comedian Janey Godley has died. She was 63 and had been receiving palliative end-of-life care.
She had recently cancelled her tour and gone into a hospice in Glasgow. Last week she received an honorary doctorate from Glasgow University.
Her manager Chris David said she died peacefully.

My first encounter with Janey Godley was at the Edinburgh Fringe around 15 years ago. She was not onstage, she was at the door into her gig welcoming people in as if they were old friends. This is not typical stand-up behaviour, but then Janey Godley is not your typical stand-up. In a world dominated by men she is a quickwitted, garrulous Glaswegian woman who is not afraid to speak her mind.
Following its World Premiere as the Closing Gala for Glasgow Film Festival 2024, audiences across Scotland and beyond will have a unique chance to see Janey on the big screen followed by live stand-up from the woman herself, starting with a special one-off London event with Janey Godley at Picturehouse Central on 28th May.
