Harry Shearer's annual Christmas Without Tears Variety Charity show is going virtual for its 15th year
What began as a humble holiday house party to chase away his Welsh partner Judith Owen’s yuletide blues became a charity event and performance in 2005 when they staged it to aid the people of New Orleans after Katrina.
Throughout this Summer and Autumn, The Simpsons and Spinal Tap star, Harry Shearer has been releasing a song a week via YouTube, in which he performs as Donald Trump, in order to explore the dark and often comical recesses of the president’s mind during his time in office. The full album, The Many Moods of Donald Trump, which comprises thirteen numbers, is released on October 30, just three days before the US goes to the polls.

Son in Law is the first track to be released from Shearer’s forthcoming album, The Many Moods of Donald Trump, a cycle of satirical songs inspired by the last four years of US politics and in particular the often mercurial behaviour of the current occupant of The White House.
