Comedian James Mullinger has done what a lot of us probably dream of doing. He left London and relocated, starting a whole new life with his wife and family. Mullinger chose New Brunswick in Canada. Since arriving he has lived the dream - with a few bumps along the way while changing from city kid to "country bumpkin" - and established himself as one of the region's top comedy stars. In 2016 he played an arena gig at Saint John's Harbour Station which outsold his hero Jerry Seinfeld.

James Mullinger has had what you could call an interesting stand-up comedy career. He was doing perfectly well on the UK circuit but then in 2014 relocated to Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada, where he has become something of a local superstar. In 2016 he filled the Harbour Station arena, breaking the ticket sales record for comedy gigs at the venue in the process – the record was previously held by his hero Jerry Seinfeld.

Performing to a sold out crowd of 5000 people, Mullinger riffs on leaving England and moving to a small city on the East Coast of Canada, parenting, homemade wine, local newspapers and Facebook.

The film, directed by Mark Murphy, features Mike Ward, Jimmy Carr, Omid Djalili, Mike Wilmot, Pete Zedlacher. MyAnna Buring, Paul Kaye, Carly Smallman, Maff Brown, Luisa Omielan, Richard Sandling and Kevin Eldon as well as Mullinger.
It will be released in selected cinemas across the UK on Friday 28th October.
