The Underbelly has announced its first batch of Edinburgh Fringe shows.
John Bishop and Jason Manford top the comedy bill, both doing runs before they set off on major UK tours. There are over 90 shows going on sale on April 20.

The guests have been announced for the second series of interview show John Bishop: In Conversation With… which returns to W on Thursday 16th March at 9pm.

Manford has posted on Facebook a picture of a note that he sent as a teenager to a classmate that he had a crush on back in November 1996. It says: “To Carly, luv Jason M…I will be famous one day soon so don’t lose this!” She didn't – she recently contacted him and showed him it.

Manford will top the bill on the Soapbox Stage. Manford recently appeared as Caractacus Potts in the stage version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and is currently the breakfast DJ on Sunday mornings on Absolute Radio.
Jason Manford did an unexpected stand-up set last night - in the middle of classic musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Manford is currently playing Caractacus Potts in the touring production and when a cast member was taken ill during the performance at Southend's Cliffs Pavilion the show had to pause while the understudy prepared to go on.
Instead of leaving the audience getting wrestless Manford went onstage and did a fifteen-minute stand-up set.
