Mancunian comic Josh Jones broke through in Edinburgh last year, picking up an Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nomination for his debut, Waste Of Space. But he had already done the hard yards, cutting his teeth in working men's clubs in the north of England. Now he is back with his second show, Gobsmacked, which confirms that his first show was no fluke.
Mancunian stand-up Josh Jones is a comedic breath of feelgood fresh air. Where other comics can be dour he is cheerful, a ray of sunshine looking on the bright side of life. And it is paying off. Last year the rising star was nominated for Best Newcomer in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

That doesn’t mean his taste buds have to be disappointed though – oh no – he likes his fast food to be fancy. And he likes it to be served with a healthy portion of drama.
This one-off programme is a showdown set in Northern Ireland where he pits two of the tastiest takeaways in town against each other.
