I'm not even sure if I should be previewing this edition of the long-running wordy mash-up quiz. It's the first episode of the sixteenth series and I've never previewed it before. And I don't think it should be a big deal in the 21st Century but sadly it is. This edition is being publicised as the first-ever TV quiz featuring an all-female panel. And about time too.
Comedy Central has today announced that a three day Stand Up and Experiential festival will take place at Southampton’s Hoglands Park on October 5th, 6th and 7th with Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Katherine Ryan set to headline across the weekend.
Katherine Ryan is to do a one-off performance of her hit stage show in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival.
The extra performance of Glitter Room will be at the Edinburgh Playhouse on August 16.

Katherine Ryan and Mark Watson are among the comedians playing a new music and arts festival set to take place this summer in Alexandra Palace on July 21.
Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan are to return to Comedy Central UK for two brand new series of hit gameshow Your Face or Mine, challenging more loved-up couples for a chance to win thousands of pounds. In addition to the audiences’ favourite rounds, the two new series will also feature brand new rounds designed to ramp up the awkwardness even more.
The second series of Your Face or Mine starts on Wednesday 4th October at 8pm on Comedy Central UK with Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan returning to challenge more loved-up couples for a chance to win thousands of pounds.
Katherine Ryan has joined the line-up for this year's Greenwich Comedy Festival, running from September 13 - 17.
Ryan will be appearing at the festival, which takes place at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, on Saturday September 16 as special guest on a bill that features David O'Doherty, Tim Key and compere Ed Gamble.
Comedian Katherine Ryan has announced a lot more dates for her Glitter Room tour. Dates this autumn have already been announced and the tour will now run well into 2018. Tickets go on sale on Friday September 8 at 10am.
The tour starts in Bath on September 21 and will currently now end on March 24 in Southport. London dates are still to be announced.
Michael McIntyre, Kevin Bridges, Katherine Ryan, Alan Carr, Jo Brand, Rob Beckett, Josh Widdicombe, Jon Richardson, Seann Walsh, Adam Hills & Russell Kane are to play a major Grenfell Tower benefit gig.
The Night Of Comedy will take place on June 27 at the Eventim Apollo.
All proceeds will go to the people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire via The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation.
All tickets £50 (plus booking fee). They go on sale on Friday 16th June at 10am.
