Peter Kay has announced his 48th performance at The O2 in London on Saturday 26th July 2025 as part of his current record-breaking comedy tour which started in Manchester, December 2022. His 48th performance will overtake performance records held by Prince, who performed 21 nights at the historic venue and Take That who previously held the record with 39 shows.
Peter Kay has announced more tour dates in 2025 and 2026.
He announced the shows with a new advert on ITV1 on Sunday night in the opening episode of “I’m Celebrity Get Me Out of Here”. The new advert sees Peter spotted as he carries a gold toilet to his mum’s iconic bungalow.

Anna Valentine, Managing Director of The Orion Publishing Group, has acquired World, All Language rights in two novels from Adam Kay, author of the international publishing phenomenon This Is Going to Hurt. Rights were bought from Cathryn Summerhayes at Curtis Brown. The first, A Particularly Nasty Case, will publish in hardback, trade paperback, ebook and audio on 11 September 2025.
Peter Kay's upcoming gigs at new Manchester venue Co-op Live have had to be postponed again, according to Kay's statement, due to the venue not being ready for a large-scale audience.
Kay was supposed to be the first comedy show there earlier this week then the dates were postponed at short notice and now they have been moved again.
