Comedian Lynn Ruth Miller has died.
Miller, one of the oldest stand ups on the circuit if not the oldest, was in her late eighties and there had recently been a gofundme campaign to raise money for her medical treatment.
Miller only started to do stand up in her seventies but quickly made an impression as an honest, candid storyteller.
"My name is Lynn Ruth Miller I am 87 years old and every morning something magic happens to me: I wake up”

There aren't many comedians over eighty years old working on the comedy circuit, but American stand-up Lynn Ruth Miller would be pretty special if she was half her age. She only took up comedy a few years ago and has quickly made a name for herself as a witty, candid and bawdy stand-up and cabaret performer. In 2013 she won Time Out and Soho Theatre's TO&ST Edinburgh Cabaret Award and she is even better than that now.
