Ever had one of those gigs...
One-liner comedian Mark Simmons has followed the example of performers doing stunts in super-quick succession onine by putting together a video in which 27 top comics 'pass' the mic to each other in their different lockdown locations and trade jokes.
Simmons kicks it off with: "Lockdown's been so boring I've started writing letters to myself. Dear me."

Mark has previously appeared in ITV’s Out There, BBC Radio 4Extra Stands Up and a Channel 4 pilot starring alongside Bridget Christie, as well as BBC3’s One For The Road. Mark also presents his popular podcast, Jokes
One-liner comedian Mark Simmons has launched a new podcast entitled Jokes with Mark Simmons.
Join Simmons (recently seeni in ITV’s Out There) and a special comedian guest every week as they share jokes that they’ve written but just haven’t worked. Could be that they are too clever, too stupid, too dark, too groanworthy or simply rubbish.
He's the red-headed/strawberry blonde/gingerish Tim Vine. The lanky Milton Jones. You get the idea. Mark Simmons* is one of the country's top one-liner comics. If you want gags he's got 'em. His show is packed with them. It's clever stuff too, done in his own distinctive, thoughtful style. Don't worry if you think a punchline doesn't quite work for you, that's probably because it's a set-up for another gag further on in the show.
Here is the third instalment of Mark Simmons' current series about a man that wants to be the face of Harvester. It is directed by comedian Danny Ward and in this episode Simmons visits a church to boost his campaign.
The idea comes from Simmons coming sixth in this summer's Dave Joke of the Fringe Competition with the joke: "Combine Harvesters. And you'll have a really big restaurant."
