Following successful seasons in London and Edinburgh, Paul Merton and Suki Webster, two of the UK’s leading improvisers, will be taking their show around the UK starting later this year.
Expect an evening of unscripted cutting-edge comedy and fast, funny improvised games, scenes, stories and laugh out loud surrealism, joined by their old friend, improv virtuoso Mike McShane, and many other very special guests.
Following the success of their weekly residency at London’s Comedy Store and a sold out Fringe season, two of the UK’s leading improvisers, Paul Merton and Suki Webster, are back at the iconic London venue for a further season.
Comedian Kevin Bridges guest hosts ‘Have I Got News For You’ for the first time tonight, as the show makes a return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9.00pm, for the first episode of its new 68th series.
On making his guest host debut, Bridges said: “An honour to be asked to host an iconic and long running show. My Mum is especially excited to see me on her screen again as she can only work freeview. The show should be a hoot. I’m off to buy a paper.”
Britain’s sharpest, antagonistic satire returns for a 66th series on Friday 6 October at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer – of course, with the beloved duo of Paul Merton and Ian Hislop in tow.
In the first show the host is Victoria Coren Mitchell and the guest panellists are Carol Vorderman and comedian Ignacio Lopez
