This year's Machynlleth Comedy Festival has been cancelled. Acts due to appear included Josh Widdicombe, Angela Barnes, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Adam Buxton, Sara Barron and Robin Ince. It was due to take place from May 1 - 3. The organisers have issued the following statement.

Due to the current Covid-19 Coronovirus crisis it is with huge sadness that we must cancel this year’s Machynlleth Comedy Festival. We know this will be a huge disappointment for all those who were planning to attend, and we share in that disappointment.
