Best-selling author and comedy legend Michael Palin is going back on the road, with a new 13 date UK tour this autumn. There and Back - The Diary Tour 2024 which will bring to life Palin’s upcoming Diary (called There and Back, published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson on 26 September).
Messages of condolence have flooded in on social media after Sir Michael Palin announced that his wife Helen had died on Tuesday morning.
Michael Palin posted the following online.
"My dearest wife Helen died peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday morning. She had been suffering with chronic pain for several years, which was compounded a few years ago by a diagnosis of kidney failure.
