Actor Peter Blake, who was famous for a number of sitcom roles in the 1970s and 1980s, has died. He was 69.
Blake was probably best known as Kirk St. Moritz, the would-be lothario in Dear John, written by John Sullivan.
He also played a DJ in the ITV sitcom Agony starring Maureen Lipman.
He also fronted a famous Pepsi TV ad campaign and acted in various TV hits including Squirrels, Alas Smith and Jones, The New Statesman and Ever Decreasing Circles.
