Ricky Gervais has announced that he is doing more work-in-progress gigs in August to road-test material for his next live show.
The comedian tweeted: "Tickets to 6 London “Work in Progress” shows in August, for my next tour, , will go on sale this Friday at 10am. Thoughts & prayers."

Netflix has confirmed that it has commissioned a six-part run for the new Ricky Gervais series After Life.
The award-winning comic will star as Tony, who has the perfect life until his wife Lisa suddenly dies, After considering suicide Tony decides to punish the world for his wife's death by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He suddenly feels as if he has a super power — not caring about anyone — but things become complicated when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they once knew.

Ricky Gervais has confirmed the date that his latest live show Humanity will be released by Netflix. The show that will be streamed will be one of his performances at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, where he had a three-week residency last autumn.
