Shelter
Organisers of the 2023 Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival (SICF) have chosen Shelter as their designated charity for this year’s event, set to take place in July.
Monies donated will support the organisation’s provision of information, support and advice to people in the region facing homelessness and experiencing unfit and unsafe housing.
Eddie Izzard is to headline a one-off benefit for housing and homelessness charity Shelter. Stand up for Shelter will take place on Wednesday, 25 February, 2015 at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith.
The acclaimed superstar will top a bill also featuring Josh Widdicombe, Rob Beckett and Sara Pascoe. Along with other special guests that are still to be announced, the evening will be hosted by Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell, the official radio partner for Stand Up for Shelter.
