Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast will be returning for a 10th series. The new series will once again see Frank dive into more of his favourite contemporary and classic works, reading extracts, analysing works, and dissecting the best verses of familiar and lesser-known poets in weekly segments.
Following Absolute Radio’s decision to cancel Frank Skinner’s radio show six months ago, the show will return as a twice-weekly podcast in partnership with Adelicious, with a first new episode dropping into podcast feeds on Friday 11th October.
Frank Skinner has added a third consecutive performance at Birmingham’s Hippodrome to his already extended and critically acclaimed stand-up tour ’30 Years of Dirt’. With shows on 11th November and an extra one on 12thNovember already sold out, an additional homecoming performance will now take place on 13th November at the Birmingham venue. This brings the total to six performances in Birmingham, as Skinner previously sold out three nights at The Alexandra back in May.

The Radio Academy has revealed the 211 nominees that will be recognised at the 2024 ARIAS on Tuesday 7th May at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London.
The nominees in the Comedy Award category include James Acaster's Springleaf, Laura Smyth's I Don't Know What To Say and Radio 4's the Skewer. Absolute Radio's Frank Skinner Show is also nominated - earlier this week it was revealed that Skinner's contract had not been renewed.
There has been an outpouring of support for comedian Frank Skinner after it was revealed this morning that his contract at Absolute Radio had not been renewed. Skinner said on Saturday morning's broadcast that his morning show with Emily Dean and comedian Pierre Novellie would be coming to an end after 15 years. The social media site X, formerly Twitter, was prompt to criticise the decision.
Following two sold out runs in London’s West End at the Lyric Theatre and the Gielgud Theatre, and off the back of a sold out 41-date national tour, Frank Skinner returns to the Gielgud Theatre in the West End this Summer with his acclaimed new stand-up show ’30 Years of Dirt’ for three weeks from Monday 5th August.

Frank Skinner is adding 14 more performances of his latest critically acclaimed stand-up show ‘30 Years of Dirt’, moving down Shaftesbury Avenue from London’s Lyric where he recently sold out seven shows, to The Gielgud Theatre. This follows a sold out run at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which included four extra dates added during the run due to overwhelming demand.
