A lot of comedians talk about quitting stand-up. And a lot of comedians probably feel like quitting stand-up during the Edinburgh Fringe. But Stewart Francis announced that this would be his final run long before the Festival and after a UK tour in the autumn he is apparently giving up comedy pursue an acting career.
Star of Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo Stewart Francis has extended his farewell tour, Into The Punset, into 2019.
With the new dates added due to demand, this is turning out to be an epic tour – beginning in Soho in October and culminating at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith in December next year, which will be Stewart’s last and final stand-up gig ever.

Back home Anderson is a pretty big star – slick, smart and very witty, though not entirely averse to dick jokes.
