Broadcaster Alan Partridge is writing an explosive new book which will be published later this year.
Big Beacon will be published by Seven Dials on October 12. It will be available as a hardback, kindle and audiobook.

Alan Partridge is set to return with a second series of From the Oasthouse in September.
There will be eleven new episodes from Audible which will come partly from the Oasthouse – in order to satisfy people who’d rather he didn’t mess with the format – and partly from other locations – to appeal to those who found the original format a bit limiting.

Alan, welcome back! For the uninitiated, what can you tell us about This Time?
It’s what’s known as a magazine show, bottling all of the magic of magazine reading and translating that into 30 minutes of TV. Some people sneer at magazines. But imagine a world without magazines, with readers having to make do with books, newspapers and letters. A chilling prospect.
The BBC has confirmed the transmission date for the start pf the new series of This Time with Alan Partridge. It will begin on Friday 30 April at 9.30pm on BBC One.
The first image has been released from the second series of This Time With Alan Partridge, which comes to BBC One in the New Year.
Once again Steve Coogan stars as the hapless unreconstructed TV host. Partridge's co-host Jennie Gresham is played by Susannah Fielding.
