Rob Deering
The BBC is not showing any comedy at the moment due to the period of mourning, but that doesn't mean that comedians are not allowed on other programmes. Musical stand-up Rob Deering is one of the guests on this week's run of Richard Osman's House of Games.
Comedy fans will know Deering as someone who can take any song you can thing of and turn it into a comedy routine. Once you've heard his acid house parody song about coffee I can guarantee you won't be able to get it out of your head.
Dixons Carphone Race to the Stones, the UK based ultra-trail marathon, has partnered with comedians Paul Tonkinson and Rob Deering, the marathon men behind the well-known Running Commentary podcast, to create a unique comical podcast which will help the 2,700 competitors taking part in the endurance race next month “break the wall”.
Comedian Rob Deering is running his tenth London Marathon today. Results have now been added.
He has regularly run the marathon in recent years to raise money for Parkinson's UK, which is a charity close to his heart - his father has Parkinson's. He finished in 4:13:43.
Joel Dommett is running the marathon in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. He finished in 3:34:18.
