Will Sharpe
The Jonathan Ross Show returns after its winter break with more celebrity chat and laughs. The guests on the first show will be star of the Ant-Man films, The Hobbit trilogy and iconic TV series Lost, Evangeline Lilly, irrepressible former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, high-octane comedian Maisie Adam, The White Lotus and Flowers star Will Sharpe, supermodel and new Glow Up host Leomie Anderson, and the multi Brit award-winning band The 1975, who will be performing in the studio.
I had a bit of deja vu watching the first episode of this new legal comedy. It is actually the episode that went out as a pilot last year but I'm not suprised a series was commissioned off the back of it. It's a refreshing take on the world of dusty wigs and funny outfits.
WillSharpe, who wrote and starred in the C4 comedy Flowers is to direct and co-write a feature film starring Benedict Cumberbatch And Claire Foy.
Principal photography will commence on Louis Wain in mid-August 2019 shooting in London. The film also stars Andrea Riseborough (Birdman) and Toby Jones (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
The wonderfully weird and weirdly wonderful Flowers returns to C4 on Monday, June 11 at 10pm and runs all week. Here is an interview with Will Sharpe who wrote the series and plays Chun. Read an interview with another of the stars, Olivia Colman, here.
First off, season one – you must have been thrilled with the reception the show got.
